"Girl with a Pearl Cochlear Implant" is part of the Remaster Series, an ongoing project that aims to put disabled bodies in works of high art to emphasize their beauty. She is inspired by Johannes Vermeer's "Girl with a Pearl Earring" (1665).
This artwork is printed on Moab Lasal PhotoMatte paper with a six-color specialty photo printer. It comes with a protective sleeve and thick backer board to protect the print during transit.
